Founder-led. Building the team.
Aukeo is led by its founder, with a senior team being assembled to match the scale of the platform and the depth of institutional relationships it requires.
Alexandra Pohl
Founder & CEO
Alexandra Pohl is the Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Aukeo, a private real estate investment and development platform focused exclusively on adaptive reuse, conversion, and mixed-use repositioning of underutilized built assets across the United States. She sets the firm's investment philosophy, leads capital formation, and chairs the Investment Committee that governs deployment across every fund vehicle on the platform.
Under her leadership, Aukeo has assembled a 29-fund platform (21 investment funds targeting $40.858 billion of AUM, plus operations and reserve capital, for $58.369 billion all-in across the 2026 and 2028 vintages) — a focused, institutional-quality platform designed for long-duration ownership of converted historic buildings, office-to-residential repositionings, warehouse and industrial adaptive-reuse projects, senior living conversions, and mixed-use community destinations.
Her approach pairs the patience of an owner with the precision of an underwriter — anchored by conservative assumptions, structurally validated conversions, disciplined entitlement risk management, and transparent governance in which every dollar of capital must earn its place in the portfolio.
